A wave of joy and pride swept through Nazareth Academy, Mokama, as India shone at the prestigious Asian Grappling Championship 2026, held in Vietnam from June 4–6, 2026. Competing against athletes from 12 countries, the Indian team secured an impressive five medals—two silver and three bronze.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, Ayush Kumar, a Class IX student of Nazareth Academy, won a bronze medal in the Under-15, 59 kg category, bringing honor to India, Bihar, and the school community. Equally commendable was the participation of Golu Kumar, a former student of the Academy, who represented India with dedication and exemplary sportsmanship on the international stage.

“Success is the sum of hard work, perseverance, and courage,” remarked Principal Sr. Rose Toppo while congratulating the young athletes. The school also proudly applauds International Referee Mr. Subodh Kumar Yadav for his outstanding service during the championship.
