Catholic Sisters Week begins March 8 and continues through March 14 in the United States. In Nazareth, Kentucky, this week offers a moment to honor the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth whose lives reflect prayer, service, and care for others.

During Catholic Sisters Week, Sister Services at Nazareth prepared a special collage to honor the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.

For generations, Sisters at Nazareth have walked with people in need through education, health care, pastoral ministry, and advocacy for justice. Their presence reflects the Gospel call to love one’s neighbor and to seek dignity for every person. Inspired by the example of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Catherine Spalding, the Congregation continues to respond to the needs of the time.

This week invites reflection on the many ways Sisters shape lives through compassion, wisdom, and courage. Their ministries echo the Church’s call to care for creation and stand with those pushed to the margins.

Follow along from March 8 through March 14 as stories and reflections highlight the Sisters who continue this mission at Nazareth today.
