Drawing on Dilexi Te, the first Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Leo XIV, the Executive Committee of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth has approved the following Commitment to Immigrants and Migrants:

“We, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and our Associates, affirm that every human being is created with inherent dignity and sacred worth. We recognize the significant contributions immigrants and migrants make to our communities.

Guided by our mission statement and the call of Pope Leo XIV in Dilexi Te, we commit ourselves to the empowerment of immigrants and migrants who face marginalization, discrimination and systemic barriers.

We stand in solidarity with immigrants and migrants and reaffirm our commitment to advance justice, expand opportunity and help build a society where all people can thrive.”
