The Religious Formation Conference would like to express its thanks to Connie Schoen, OP as she leaves her position as Program Director with the Conference on Friday, September 4, 2020.
Sister Connie says that “It has been a privilege to serve you, the RFC members. Thanks to each of you who over my years here shared your commitment and passion for our lives as vowed religious. Certainly, at this time in our world and country such witness is critically needed. May we keep each other in prayer as we continue to bring the Gospel to others. I look forward to a time when we see each other again.”
The Conference is grateful to Sister Connie for her service as Program Director for the past 3 ½ years. She has made substantive contributions to all of RFC’s core programs: ForMission, Life Commitment, and Orientation to Formation. Additionally, Sister Connie has been instrumental in the RFC hosting high-quality, well-received webinars and presentations. She has also played a leadership role laying the foundation for RFC’s newest program, Compromiso di Vida (Life Commitment Program in Spanish). We give thanks for all of Sister Connie’s gifts and contributions and wish her the very best.
While the RFC Staff and Board will take time to evaluate program needs and discern the best path forward, all programming is moving forward as planned. The Conference will be sure to share information regarding next steps as details become available.
