On June 6, 2026, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth hosted a beautiful graduation ceremony for 19 inspiring young women at Navjyoti Centre Kathmandu. The event was organized to honor their hard work as they step into bright futures.

The program began with a welcome for distinguished guests through the presentation of traditional khada scarves. Honored attendees included Chief Guest Fr. Krishna Bahadur Bogati, president of Nepal Nazareth Society; Vice President Mrs. Sanu Amatya; Secretary Miss Jiwankala Subba (Limbu); Treasurer Mr. Chirendra Rai Satyal; and special guest Mr. Jay Bahadur Tamang, ward president of Aanaikot, along with local religious sisters, teachers, and proud parents.

After completing their Secondary Education Examination (SEE), these young women from rural schools eagerly joined an intensive two-month training program. They took advantage of the opportunity to develop basic computer skills, spoken English, knitting, and stitching, practical skills essential for daily life and personal growth.

The celebratory day featured vibrant cultural performances and opportunities for the graduates to share their experiences at Navjyoti Centre. During the program, Mr. Tamang encouraged the graduates to carry forward the values of education, discipline, self-confidence, and leadership.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Sister Suchita Kullu, vice provincial of Patna Province, who expressed gratitude to all the guests, parents, staff members, and sisters who contributed to the event’s success.
