Approximately 1,500 visitors attended Nazareth’s annual Trick-or-Treat event Thursday, Oct. 22, with Nelson County Schools’ GlowUP celebration bringing a new feature to the campus tradition.
Pumpkins carved, painted and decorated by local students formed a display in front of the Motherhouse. High school students prepared their pumpkins on campus the day before the event, while younger students contributed creations made at school.
Sisters, Associates, employees, volunteers, community partners and Nazareth Village residents welcomed families and distributed candy and treats at booths across the grounds. The free gathering paired Halloween fun with an opportunity for neighbors to connect with the Nazareth community.
