This month, the Religious Formation Conference celebrates Catholic Sisters Week (March 8-14) as well as Women's History Month. We honor the legacy of the Catholic sisters who had the vision and fortitude in the early 1950s to establish the Sister Formation Conference, the precursor to the RFC as we know it today. We also celebrate and lift up the stories of the women religious who embody the now and new of religious life, through their ministries in formation, leadership, education, health care, social justice, and prayer and presence.

Catholic Sisters Week (March 8–14, 2026) is a national celebration that shines a light on the spirit, service, and strength of Catholic Sisters across the country. Each year, congregations come together to share their stories, uplift their ministries, and invite the wider community to learn more about the women whose lives are dedicated to prayer, compassion, and courageous action.
