The Conference is excited to share details of the 2022 Orientation to Formation (OTF) program. The program has been newly configured after a period of review, reflection and input. We invite you to read over the details below.
This year's program will be offered as a 4-week online experience via Zoom. Participants will meet from 11:00am to 2:00pm central time each of the four Tuesdays in October (October 4, 11, 18, 25). Brief preparation materials will be sent in advance of each session. There will be an optional fifth week (November 1) offered for elected leaders.
- Week I: Formation Ministry Today
- Week II: The Art of Accompaniment
- Week III: Seeing Things Whole
- Week IV: What is this All For?
- Week V (optional): Elected Leaders & Formation Ministry
Online time together will consist of additional input on specific topics, focused conversation in small groups, some large group sharing of insights, and suggestions for deepening the experience following the session. All participants will be encouraged to establish a pattern of ongoing individual and peer group supervision. Presenters for the various modules as well as RFC staff will be available for conversation and consultation.
We are extremely pleased to have Sister Mary Pat Garvin, RSM, PhD and Brother Paul Michalenko, ST, PhD facilitate this year's program.
