In addition to a full program of plenary sessions and seminar presentations, there will also be three Pre-Congress Workshops on Thursday, November 9 and a Post-Congress Workshop on Sunday, November 12.
Our theme of Thrive focuses on the approaches, best practices, and resources that empower women and men religious and those who serve them in formation. This year’s emphasis of together in formation highlights the ways that we, as people committed to the synodal path, best accompany those called to this way of life.
The Congress keynote speaker will be Cardinal Robert W. McElroy of the Diocese of San Diego. The second plenary session will be a panel exploring Synodality Stretching Beyond Generations: Navigating Intergenerational Challenges and Opportunities in Religious Life, featuring Sister Chioma Ahanihu, SLW; Father Ray Flores, OSA; Sister Ann Letourneau, CSJ (moderator); and Brother Loughlan Sofield, ST.
Finally, we are thrilled to have Sister Simone Campbell, SSS with us to facilitate the Post-Congress workshop on Sunday, November 12.
Additional information about Congress, including a list of this year's speakers and their presentation descriptions, can be accessed online: relforcon.org/THRIVE
We invite those in formation ministry and Congregational leadership to register and reserve a spot at this year’s Congress. Don't miss out on peer networking, sharing of best practices and resources, communal prayer and liturgies, and much more.
We look forward to greeting you at the Marriott Chicago O'Hare in November!
