Nepal Constitution Day: On Sept. 20, Nepal observes Constitution Day, marking the adoption of the country’s current Constitution in 2015. The day commemorates an important moment in Nepal’s history and the establishment of the nation as a federal democratic republic. As our Sisters, Associates and friends in Nepal observe this national day, we pray for the people of Nepal and for continued peace, safety and unity.

Belize Independence Day: On Sept. 21, Belize celebrates Independence Day, marking the country’s independence from Great Britain in 1981. The day honors Belize’s journey as an independent nation and is celebrated with ceremonies, parades, and community gatherings across the country. As our Sisters, Associates and friends in Belize celebrate, we join them in giving thanks for the people and rich culture of Belize. 

SCNA Commitment Ceremony: A Commitment Ceremony for SCN Associates will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The ceremony, which is part of the SCNA Weekend held Sept. 25–27, will be livestreamed at nazareth.org/live. All are welcome to attend.

Season of Creation Congregational Prayer Service: On Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 9:30 a.m. ET, we will come together in prayer to celebrate the Season of Creation and its theme “Living Water.” All are welcome to join in this Zoom prayer service by clicking on the link here.
