We lovingly conclude the “Through My Eyes” bulletin board in the Motherhouse communications room. Thank you to everyone who participated so thoughtfully and generously. The reflections, photographs, and shared perspectives created a meaningful space that reminded us to slow down and understand that caring for creation is not just an idea. It is something we see, experience, and live each day.
If you contributed an item and would like it returned, please contact mvarelas@nazareth.org. Items not requested for return will be donated to the thrift shop by March 1st.
The Sustainability Tree has arrived on the bulletin board. This interactive display invites Sisters, Associates and employees to reflect on how we can care for creation and to make a personal pledge toward sustainability. Whether your commitment is to reduce waste, conserve resources, support pollinators, deepen prayer for creation, or spend more time in nature, your pledge becomes a leaf on our growing tree.
Each leaf represents a small act of hope. Together, they form something much larger: a visible sign of our shared commitment to “our common home.”
Stop by the Motherhouse communications room, take a leaf and add your pledge to the tree.
For those outside of the Nazareth campus, please send your pledge to mvarelas@nazareth.org and your pledge will be added to our tree.
EXAMPLE: I pledge to be more aware and reduce my water consumption to care for our common home.
I pledge_____________________________________to care for our common home.
