In November, Sisters Mary Johnson, SNDdeN, and Sandra Schneiders, IHM addressed participants at the RFC's post-congress workshop. Nearly 300 women and men religious attended the day-long session reflecting on the future of religious formation. The entire address by Sister Sandra can be accessed via PDF file on the left.
"We didn’t need each other, or at least we didn’t think we did, as long each Congregation had enough provisions in its separate silo. But now that, for all kinds of reasons, we don’t enjoy such self-sufficiency, we are finding out that common necessity can make at least as good neighbors as do fences."
