The RFC joins with Sister Alice St. Hilaire's family and religious community in remembering her life and mourning her passing. Sister Alice died unexpectedly on December 27th and services are being held today, Thursday, January 3, 2019.
Sister Alice was an early pioneer in the Sister Formation Conference which later became the Religious Formation Conference. She taught philosophy at the College of Sister Formation of Seattle University at Providence Heights and on the university’s downtown campus. She was chosen for the first Formation Team, served on the Provincial Council and at Providence Hospitality House. In 2004, she was honored for her lifelong commitment to formation ministry by the Religious Formation Conference at its 50th Jubilee.
Sister Alice was a member of the Sisters of Providence, Mother Joseph Province (Renton, WA).
Rest in peace, Sister Alice.
