The Religious Formation Conference (RFC) is pleased to announce that it has received a new grant from the GHR foundation. The grant will focus on two important characteristics of religious life: (1) intercultural skills for community and ministry and (2) intercongregational living and being. Both grant emphases will be addressed through praxis as well as theory in collaboration with other organizations that serve religious life: the Association of Latin Missionary Sisters in America (AHLMA) and the Leadership Collaborative.
As these values undergird the mission and work of the Conference, we are excited to partner with the GHR Foundation to move these initiatives forward. More information regarding the scope of the work and practical elements of the projects involved will be shared in 2022.
In addition to the GHR grant, the RFC is grateful to the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati and the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station) for their support of the Conference through smaller grant opportunities. Their generosity will enable the RFC to strengthen programming in the areas of Orientation to Formation and ForMission, as well as Compromiso de Vida.
We look forward to the many fruits of these partnerships and are blessed to be able to partner with such vibrant organizations to respond to the emerging future of religious life.
