ForMission is a two year theory and skills development program for vowed religious, women and men, engaged in the ministry of initial formation. The next class will gather May 30-June 7 at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. The theme of this residential session will be Spirituality for Apostolic Religious Life. We invite you to learn more about the program and apply today!
Past participants have described this program as "transformative."
But don't take our word for it. Listen to two of our colleagues in formation ministry talk about their experience.
"It wasn't just the fraternal sharing and bonding with other formation directors that created a joy-filled learning environment. At every stage I was awakened by guest speakers to new possibilities to transform today's society with Christ's love. And I was given the latest tools to walk with those discerning religious life so that in serving their process of discernment they too would be well equipped to respond to a call for mission as a religious."

"The ForMission program has been a gift in my new ministry of accompanying women in Initial Membership. The program has provided knowledgeable presenters and the opportunity to have a cohort to learn and share this ministry with. I am grateful for the ForMission program and its support of the future of Religious life."
