A few weeks ago, the Religious Formation Conference had the highest number ever participate in a Conference webinar. 871 people logged in and 1,179 registered to hear Dr. Ted Dunn's session, entitled "Facilitating the Newly Emerging Religious Life: Our Role at the Crossroads." Many others gathered to view and process the presentation together: religious congregations, associate communities and other lay partners. Over and over, we hear how valuable webinars are to our constituents. They cultivate connection, foster growth, and inspire hope.
The live broadcast of our webinars is free and open to everyone. We’d like to continue to keep these complimentary in 2021. Will you help us do that by pitching in today?
Friend, every little bit helps defray technology, presenter, and staff costs associated with producing our webinars. A secure, online financial contribution would ensure we’re able to keep offering excellent webinar sessions.

The popularity of our webinars demonstrates the desire for people of faith to come together and be church. Even in an incredibly challenging year, people showed up for one another in creative ways. Our webinars, and other virtual programming, meet a crucial need for those for whom ongoing connection and collaboration are important. We have been honored to be able to facilitate gathering in new and meaningful ways.
As we evaluate our webinars and look to grow other opportunities for digital connection, a financial gift today would go a long way in helping us do that. No gift is too small. Whatever you’re able to give is greatly appreciated.
Gaudete Sunday reminded us of the call and opportunity to spread the joy of Christ. Here at the Conference, we’ve tried to do just that in a year where so many needed online spaces to build up God’s reign of justice, love and peace.
Thank you in advance for making a gift this Advent season. May we pray for healing and hope as we near 2021. We will be sure to keep you in our prayers, too.
With joy and gratitude,
Ellen Dauwer, SC
